Update

A few days ago I was thinking about the good old days when I would anxiously wait for the Mathie Family Letter to arrive in the mail so I could hear how about what all my cousins, aunts and uncles were up to. This is our modern-day family letter. Isn't it amazing what technology can do?! So I decided to do my first post as an update. Todd, Mason, Porter and I live in Hillsboro, OR which is just west of Portland. We have lived in this area for 5 years, since we got married. We bought our house 2 years ago and love it. Todd works for Comcast as an assistant sales supervisor and is going to school to get his bachlors degree. We still have a lot of school to survive but are very lucky that one of the benefits of working at Comcast is that they pay for schooling. Todd is a great daddy and loves to spend time with his boys. He also plays softball on friday nights. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. When the boys give me some free time I like to read and scrapbook. Mason is 4 and Porter is almost 4 months. They are both so much fun. Mason is a fabulous big brother and great helper. He has loads of energy. He loves to ride his bike, play trains or cars, read, do anything that involves scissors or glue, wrestle with Daddy, play pirates, swim, watch the Blazers, and is looking forward to going back to preschool in the fall. He is a sweet little boy and loves to make us laugh! Porter is growing so fast, as all babies do. He is sleeping great at night which makes for a happy momma! He has started reaching for a grabbing toys and loves to play. He is usually all smiles which I still can't get enough of!! He isn't rolling around quite yet, but has rolled from his belly to his back twice and when he really wants to will scoot around on his back on the floor. We sure love our sweet little baby!
